Kristina Says
Like many of the people I have worked with, you might be wondering if what you are feeling is normal, and whether there is a way out of this. I want to let you know that it is completely normal for life’s stresses and hurts to leave us feeling lost.
If you are considering therapy, you are likely holding on to the hope that things can change for the better. I am here to tell you that you were right to hold on to this hope. The work I do with people that seek my help leads to greater clarity, certainty, and ultimately a long lasting change for the better.
Past experiences where we felt rejected, rebuffed or unsafe affect our emotions and our outlook more than you might think. Those unresolved hurts are brought into our relationships and they affect our day to day decisions.
Therapists are trained to help you identify and process these unresolved wounds so you can live a life of your own choosing, rather than allowing yourself to be dictated by these hurts.
Kristina Kosnac
As a Relationship Specialist
Kristina's work is heavily influenced by the idea that our relationships, particularly our family relationships, are at the core of our emotional well-being. When these relationships are loving and supportive, we can walk through life with a positive outlook, knowing that we are loved and appreciated.
However, when these relationships are a source of pain, frustration and struggle, we feel unsafe or otherwise unfulfilled. We develop thought patterns and behavioural tendencies that are designed to help us avoid this unprocessed pain.
Until we are able to resolve these hurts, we walk through life feeling like we are not living the life we are supposed to be living. This has a knock-on effect on our work and on our other relationships.
Kristina is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and will tailor her approach to your individual needs.
